Strawberry Banana Milkshake – 3 ingredients

There are many delicious strawberries available in spring and summer, and if you have some left over, you can use them with overripe bananas to make a delicious strawberry banana milkshake. My recipe is very fast, and you only need 3 basic ingredients: strawberries, bananas, and milk.

Ingredients for 2 Strawberry Banana Milkshakes:

  • 1 overripe banana (~100g peeled)
  • 250g – 350g strawberries
  • 350ml cold milk
  • 2 tsp sugar (optional)
  1. For the milkshake, use bananas that aren’t brown on the inside to get a nice color. For a creamier texture, you can put the banana in the freezer for half an hour before mashing it.
  2. Peel the banana, wash, and remove the green parts of the strawberries. If they are too big, cut them in half.
  3. Put the fruits in a blender and mash them till you get the desired consistency. I prefer my milkshake a little coarse, with small pieces of fruit in it.
  4. If you want a creamier texture, you can use a sieve to get rid of the bigger pieces.
  5. Add sugar if you want (I usually skip it) and the cold milk.
  6. You can also add vanilla ice cream to it. It will be delicious.
