Strawberry Banana Milkshake – 3 ingredients
There are many delicious strawberries available in spring and summer, and if you have some left over, you can use them with overripe bananas to make a delicious strawberry banana milkshake. My recipe is very fast, and you only need 3 basic ingredients: strawberries, bananas, and milk.
Ingredients for 2 Strawberry Banana Milkshakes:
- 1 overripe banana (~100g peeled)
- 250g – 350g strawberries
- 350ml cold milk
- 2 tsp sugar (optional)
- For the milkshake, use bananas that aren’t brown on the inside to get a nice color. For a creamier texture, you can put the banana in the freezer for half an hour before mashing it.
- Peel the banana, wash, and remove the green parts of the strawberries. If they are too big, cut them in half.
- Put the fruits in a blender and mash them till you get the desired consistency. I prefer my milkshake a little coarse, with small pieces of fruit in it.
- If you want a creamier texture, you can use a sieve to get rid of the bigger pieces.
- Add sugar if you want (I usually skip it) and the cold milk.
- You can also add vanilla ice cream to it. It will be delicious.

I also make Banana Milkshake when I have too many overripe bananas.
